For leaders ready to be challenged

Executive coaching that rewires how you lead

Most coaching tells you what you want to hear. Ours doesn't. We work with senior leaders across Scotland and the UK to dismantle comfortable habits and build something sharper in their place — clarity, conviction, and the courage to act on both.

Leadership isn't a title — it's a practice you either refine or let decay

The executives who seek us out are not broken. They are high-performing, ambitious, and often surrounded by people who agree with them too easily. That agreement is the problem. Growth lives in the space between what you believe about your leadership and what everyone around you actually experiences.

Our coaching philosophy centres on one uncomfortable truth: the behaviours that got you promoted are rarely the ones that will make you exceptional at the level you now occupy. We help you identify the gap, sit with it honestly, and close it through deliberate, structured practice over months — not a weekend retreat.

We draw on cognitive behavioural frameworks, systems thinking, and decades of boardroom pattern recognition to create a programme that is entirely yours. No off-the-shelf assessments. No motivational platitudes. Just rigorous, confidential partnership aimed at measurable change.

How an engagement unfolds

Discovery conversation

A candid, 60-minute session where we explore what is working, what is not, and whether we are the right fit. There is no obligation and no pitch — just an honest exchange about your current leadership reality and what you want to change.

360-degree landscape mapping

With your permission, we gather confidential input from peers, direct reports and stakeholders. This is not a generic survey; we design bespoke questions that surface the specific dynamics around your role, your team, and your organisation's culture.

Personalised development architecture

We synthesise the findings into a focused development plan — typically three to four priority shifts — with concrete behavioural indicators so progress is observable, not abstract. You approve every element before we begin.

Fortnightly coaching sessions

Over six to twelve months, we meet every two weeks for 90-minute sessions. Each one follows a structured rhythm: reflection on recent leadership moments, skill-building around your priority areas, and planning deliberate experiments for the weeks ahead.

Mid-point recalibration

Halfway through the engagement, we revisit stakeholder perceptions and compare them to your baseline. This is where the data speaks — and where most clients experience the deepest motivation to keep pushing.

Graduation and sustainability plan

We close with a final stakeholder pulse, a written summary of shifts achieved, and a self-coaching framework you can use independently. The goal is to make our partnership obsolete.

Outcomes our clients have measured

These figures are aggregated from anonymised post-engagement surveys completed by clients and their stakeholders between 2021 and 2025.

87%

What we offer

One-to-one executive coaching

Our flagship offering. A six- to twelve-month partnership designed for C-suite leaders, managing directors, and senior vice presidents navigating high-stakes transitions — whether that is a new role, a restructuring, or a personal plateau that defies easy explanation.

Leadership team intensives

A two-day facilitated offsite for intact leadership teams who need to rebuild trust, align on strategy, or shift deeply entrenched group dynamics. We combine individual pre-work with structured group exercises and follow up with three months of team-level coaching.

Transition coaching

A focused, three-month programme for leaders stepping into a significantly larger role — first 90 days support, stakeholder mapping, quick-win identification, and the emotional recalibration that accompanies every genuine step up in scope and complexity.

Questions we hear often

Therapy explores the past to heal; mentoring shares experience to guide. Coaching sits between the two — we work with your present behaviour and future aspirations, using structured frameworks to accelerate change. We do not diagnose, and we do not advise. We ask the questions that help you arrive at better answers yourself.
Absolutely. Around 70% of our engagements are funded by the client's employer. We provide a clear proposal document, a statement of objectives, and a confidential progress summary at the mid-point and close — sharing only what you authorise.
Sessions are 90 minutes, held either in person at our Scotland office or via secure video call. We begin with a reflection on what happened since we last met — decisions made, conversations had, moments of friction or insight. From there, we move into focused skill work around your priority areas, and close with a set of deliberate experiments to carry into the next fortnight.
We do, provided time zones allow for sessions during UK business hours. We have worked with leaders based in mainland Europe, the Middle East, and North America. The video-based format sacrifices very little — and some clients prefer it for the additional privacy it affords.
We define success before the engagement begins by agreeing on three to four observable behavioural shifts. At the mid-point and close, we gather brief stakeholder feedback to assess whether those shifts are being perceived by the people who matter most. We also track your own self-assessment scores across key dimensions like strategic clarity, team empowerment, and personal resilience.
